Artist Statement

I take my inspiration from the beauty of nature and intriguing architecture. When I find an inspiring scene, then I know it needs to be made into a painting. I like to challenge myself by finding something new to turn into a painting.

Biography:

I was born in New York City, and went to school at the Rhode Island school of design. I taught art for 30 years in Rhode Island. I majored in painting, ceramics and art education. I do some ceramics, but my forte is paint, and I like to use oils, acrylics and watercolors.
