Artist Statement

My creations unfold as a testament to my vast curiosity which drives me to constantly evolve. I am an artist who thrives on experimentation, weaving through various processes and with varied materials with an innate desire to create my own path. Currently enraptured by the world of enamel, I employ an array of techniques and materials- milfiore, decals, enamel paints, lusters, and more- to create one of a kind designs, all while continuing to explore other art forms like paper marbling and printmaking.

Biography:

Bridget Powers was born and raised in the Finger Lakes Region of New York State as the last of seven siblings. Curiosity led her to move away from home to New Hampshire to begin her professional career as a speech/language pathologist. In New Hampshire, Bridget raised two independent, intelligent and creative children. Bridget and her husband, Greg, reside in Plymouth.
