Tom Hitchcock
Artist Statement
Ever since I was in third grade I have known that art would be a major part of my life and I have never stopped learning about and creating art.
As a young student and even through Fine Art School I have always been an original thinker and creator of eye stopping images.
I love to paint and create in all mediums including, weathered wood which gives my work a special organic expression from the character of the wood itself.
Along with my desire to paint and create my own artwork, I also teach classes to younger and older students in my art classes designed to help each student develop their own style.
Art is ageless and multicultural and always helps people through the transitions of history in our world.
For me, it is a God given talent, and how I express myself with this gift allows my soul to find peace and satisfaction through creating my original art.
