Discover How to Color Your World!
Lakes Center for the Arts, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, will feature five varied programs and workshops. Each presentation is designed to offer a compelling experience for those who attend. The Gallery at MPL will be dedicated to each artist’s work during the weeks following their presentation.
April 5, learn from local leaders who will share stories about the “Dress a Girl” initiative.
May 3, Kathryn Field, a Meredith Sculpture Walk artist, will inspire others to find their creative spirit.
June 7, Pia Louise Capaldi internationally known intuitive medium and artist will help students discover their own artistic language through synesthesia.
September 6, Bridget Powers will explore an array of techniques and materials.
October 4, Robin Cornwell, noted fiber artist, will engage students in a tactile experience using quilting and printing on fabrics. (Limit: eight students)

An artistic collaboration by Lakes Center for the Arts & the Country Village Quilters’ Guild. On display at Castle in the Clouds December 7 + 8 from 10am-4pm.

ArtsLIVE 2023
This year the Belknap Mill was the setting for our second ArtsLIVE event, featuring a selection of talented artists that will set up their own mini studio spaces. Artists were able to discuss their creative journey, exhibit and sell their works of art. There were demonstrations and hands-on activities for the whole family.
